Phil Musen (b.1985, Boston, MA) graduated in 2009 from The Savannah College of Art & Design with a BFA in Painting. He is an artist who lives and works in Savannah, mostly selling street art in Forsyth Park. He is also a part time farmer who provides organically grown vegetables to local restaurants.

Mermaid Fantasy is a reimagining of the artist's experiences turned into a fantastical adventure. The story begins with shipwreck, as a group of sailors are thrust onto land inhabited by a Mermaid civilization. Phil Musen invites viewers to witness these turbulent events as they unfold and to examine for themselves the themes and power dynamics of love and heartbreak.
