“Hand-dyed linen and cotton, hand-stitched. From my series in progress, Reliquaries, this art quilt honors the recovery medallion. Embedded in the cloth are two recovery chips, one of mine and one of my son's who died 10 years ago of an overdose. The circular shapes in the quilt honor that of the medallion.”
