Cynthia Knott & Michael Turner
About the Artists:
Cynthia Knott is a painter of the sea in the en plein air tradition, whose major works include large seascapes of sky and sea meeting at the horizon line. Knott has exhibited nationally and internationally in galleries and museums such as DC Moore Gallery, Tibor de Nagy Gallery, the Parrish Art Museum, New York, and the San Jose Museum of Art, California, among others. She is the recipient of many awards including the Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant Award.
Michael Turner is a photographer whose images capture primordial forms and patterns where the sea meets land. Turner’s work is included in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, the High Museum of Art and MOCA, Atlanta, the Lamar Dodd Museum, Lagrange, Georgia, among others. He is the founder of Atlanta Photography Group.
