Humans are hardwired for connection, a truth put under the most severe stress test this last year as we slogged through coronavirus, together yet apart. The pandemic pushed us to extremes in every aspect of lives - financially, politically, emotionally - and we are now peeking out from pandemic life into the future. This prospect is exciting, relieving and simultaneously overwhelming. Hey Y'all is a reminder that we are all in this together and that we can rebuild connection, one hello at a time.

Kay Wolfersperger is an illustrator from Savannah, GA taking in all its fabulousness when not behind the pencil. She studied at the Savannah College of Art and Design and earned two BFA degrees, one in graphic design and one in fibers (as valedictorian!). She has united these two disciplines together through illustration, the tool she wields to send joy pings out into the universe via pattern, packaging, children's books and more. She is represented by Lilla Rogers Studio and also collaborates with her husband Benjamin Carl Stanley under the moniker House of Kindling, an art department for hire helping small businesses thrive.

Hey Y’all will be on display in The Drive Thru Art Box from April 10th - May 31st, 2021 and can be seen anytime, day or night. There will be an Artist Talk on Saturday, May 1st at 2 pm via IG Live @sulfurstudios.
