Arts Southeast’s mission is to to make Savannah a destination for art and culture in the Southeast by supporting established and emerging artists and engaging a diverse community with creative programming by developing awareness and appreciation of the arts.

Through robust programming, Arts Southeast brings many opportunities for artists to create and for the community to engage in creative and educational programming. From exhibitions, to the ON::View Artist Residency Program, affordable artist studio spaces and fun community events like the Sulfur Street Fair, Arts Southeast provides endless opportunities for involvement in the arts!

Our robust Exhibitions Programming features …

The ON::VIEW Artist Residency provides a free, high visibility studio space for an artist to complete a new project, to continue an in-progress endeavor, or to conduct research exploring conceptual, material, performative, and social practices. The ON::View Residency supports artists from across the globe, working in all media.

Sulfur Street Fairs are fun outdoor community events, featuring local and regional artists, vendors, artisans, live painters, a rotating featured food truck, entertainment, kids art activities and more! These quarterly events take place on 39th Street between Bull Street and Desoto Avenue, right outside Sulfur Studios. From 5 - 9PM and in conjunction with First Fridays in Starland.
