Sulfur Studios provides 26 private artist studios in a collaborative, welcoming community of creatives. Studios come in a variety of sizes on both floors of our building. We are home to all kinds of artists - photographers, designers, painters, illustrators, fiber artists, jewelers, sculptors and more!

We present solo and group exhibitions featuring established and emerging artists. We are always looking for new artists and guest curators to work with, especially those from the Southeastern US!
Sulfur Studios curates and installs work in public spaces and private homes. See a selection of artists we work with on our Artists page.
If you’d like to be part of the Sulfur Studios’ community, but don’t need private work space, become a Sulfur Studios Co-Worker! Access to our co-working space in our upstairs Annex is guaranteed from 8AM - 4PM, Monday through Friday, with additional work-time available in the evening and weekends as long as no other events are scheduled in the space.
Co-working space is available for $150 per month or $400 for three months.

The ON::VIEW Artist Residency provides a free, high visibility studio space for an artist to complete a focused project. Windows on Bull Street allow the artists’ work to be on view at all times. Visitors and passersby on the sidewalk witness the artists’ process as it unfolds, seeing all the steps involved from concept to final execution. Community events like workshops, performances, public art projects and artist talks, offer creative ways to interact with the public. We now offer free housing for out of town artists as well! Prismatic Prints located in Studio #11 is owned and operated by Emily Earl, Executive Director and co-founder of Sulfur Studios.
