“In order to pollinate and for the fig fruit to grow a wasp must crawl inside and die allowing it to be consumed by the fig. The wasp sacrifices itself for the betterment of what can be created with the two combined. This work uses the relationship between the fig and the wasp as a metaphor for relationships and losing yourself in them with the idea of creating something meaningful.”
