Troy Wandzel was born in Golden Valley, Minnesota in 1972 and is currently living in Savannah, Georgia. He is a multidisciplinary artist that exhibits both nationally and internationally, including Sotheby’s Auction Houses and is included in many notable collections. Initially a portrait painter focusing on painting from life, Troy has transitioned his work into sculpture that attempts to discuss the absence of color, and an understanding of how light affects form.
The Drive Thru Art Box was started in 2012 by Matt Hebermehl and Mike Williams as part of the SeeSAW (See Savannah Art Walls) Project, a public arts initiative. Jessica Leigh Lebos led the way with the first yarn bomb installation. Sulfur Studios is proud to continue this unique way of presenting public art to the local community.
