Mary Katharine Tramontana is an American writer, sexual politics critic, and poet based in Berlin who writes about queerness, gender, longing and art. During her Residency, she will work on two projects: her first book of poetry with accompanying original photography, Serious Pleasures: Poems of Lust and Longing, and a series of photographs involving sensual imagery of young men, “Boys,” with an accompanying essay on sexual appetite, gender, and the way we conceptualize human sexuality and desire. Tramontana will display her writing and photographs in the residency windows and offer readings from Serious Pleasures. Learn more here
