ON THE OCCASION OF THEIR COLLABORATIVE EXHIBITION, EDGE.
The Artist Talk will be in-person at Sulfur Studios and will also by simulcast via IG Live @sulfurstudios
EDGE is a new mixed media collaboration that weaves together the histories, disciplines, and perspectives of Cynthia Knott and Michael Turner. The collaborative aspect of this endeavor came alive when both artists agreed that there are no mistakes in the creative process, laying a foundation for combined vision, energy, and a new artistic voice.
Sulfur Studios is thrilled to produce its first Exhibition Catalogue in celebration of EDGE!
The EDGE Catalogue features a Foreword by Jon Witzky, Curator and Exhibitions Director at Sulfur Studios, an Introduction by Jerry Cullum, freelance curator, critic & author at ArtsATL and “Dancing Toward Bethlehem” by Billy Collins, Poet Laureate of the United States (2001 - 2003).
Limited run of 100 copies, Perfect bound, 8 x 10”, 70 pages, full color, 80 lb. gloss. Layout and design by Emily Earl and Jon Witzky.
Catalogues will arrive at the studio on October 1st and will be signed by both artists. Pre-order is now available. Local purchasers may pick up their copies at Sulfur Studios during the Opening Reception on October 1st. Please allow 2 weeks to ship.
EDGE is on display in the Main Gallery at Sulfur Studios, September 30th - October 24th, 2021.
