MATTER - a group exhibition by GSU Fine Arts MFA Candidates


MATTER is an MFA candidate exhibition providing an array of avenues to better understand the relationships we have to each other and our environments by evaluating the physical and emotional conditions found in our current world. 

Featured artist include: Nicole James, Jada Miller, Lyndsey Frantz, Meredith Conger, Ashrafi Sultana, Madeline Shelor, Jessica Cartwright, Eric Sanders, Amy Nelson, Nikolaus James, Makaili Taylor, Zohreh Galdizadeh, Cody Thomas and Tameka Phillips.

These students are a group of contemporary artists focusing on the importance of conversations about identity, emotional states, political discourse, storytelling, and the influence of nature. Their work is made to highlight these ideas and what society can do to help. 

MATTER is on display from October 31st – November 2nd, 2019 and may be seen during Sulfur Studios’ regular business hours Thursday through Saturday from noon – 5PM or by appointment.
