DEADLINE TO APPLY: January 10th, 2026
“One of the main things we want to do as a band is talk about what's happening right now and everything we're feeling, with an honesty and directness that gets through to people. I hope that our music helps everyone feel more deeply, but in a way that goes beyond just reacting…I want it to pick people up, so that they can actually go out and do something with whatever they're feeling.”
— Friko vocalist/guitarist Niko Kapetan on the album
“Where We’ve Been, Where We Go From Here”
Where have you been, and where are you going now? At times - particularly our times - that question may have a complicated answer. Maybe you’ve felt compelled to produce more, or maybe you find yourself in the winter of the process, when less is produced but ideas are preparing to germinate. Whatever season you find yourself in, there is power in sharing and collectively experiencing art.
For this exhibition, we welcome our community of Artist Supporters to share not only new work, but additional older work that may not have seen the light of day for a while. Share work that still means something to you, or holds the spark of an idea you’d like to revisit. (Please note: this should be work that has not been previously shown at ARTS Southeast, but there is no limitation on year created).
Artists are encouraged to submit at least one older work and one newer work for this exhibition. Maybe the comparison reveals progression in your technical ability, changes to your material choices, or shifts in your mindset. Written descriptions are highly encouraged to provide context.
At the start of a new year, we want to share where our community finds itself. Wherever we’re going, we’re going together.
Please note: this Call for Entry is open to current ARTS Southeast Supporters.

About the Supporter Gallery
The Supporter Gallery at ARTS Southeast, established in 2022, is a dedicated space where Artist Supporters have three exhibition opportunities per year. Encircling our central gallery and running along a loop of artist studios, it is a high-visibility space in the heart of our community, showcasing our Supporters and helping to set the tone of our creative space. Running in tandem with our main exhibition space The Ellis Gallery and Artist Residency projects, it exists in conversation with events throughout the year. The Supporter Gallery strives to support and uplift emerging and established artists through every step of the exhibition process. Questions about the application or results are always welcome. Artists should contact the Supporter Gallery curator, Samantha Mack, with any questions: sam@artssoutheast.org
